  • Analytics: We use Ahrefs Web Analytics to understand how visitors use our site. This helps us improve the experience. Ahrefs collects minimal data and respects privacy.
  • Local Storage: Your eclipse journal entries, saved locations, photography settings, and bookmarks are stored locally in your browser using IndexedDB. This data never leaves your device.

What We Don't Collect

  • No user accounts or authentication
  • No personal information (name, email, phone)
  • No cookies for tracking
  • No third-party advertising trackers
  • No server-side storage of your personal data

Your Control

Since all your personal data is stored locally in your browser:

  • You can clear your browser data at any time to delete all journal entries and saved preferences
  • Your data is not synced across devices (it stays on each device)
  • You can deny geolocation permission and still use all features
  • You control what goes into your eclipse journal
