Privacy

Eclipse Journey has no accounts, no sign-up and no database of visitors.

Stored in your browser only

• The last location you checked (city or coordinates), so eclipse pages can show your local times straight away.
• Eclipses you star in the calendar.
• Your ISO, aperture and focal length on the photography calculator.

This stays in your browser’s local storage and is never sent to us. “Use my location” asks your browser for permission; the coordinates are used on the page and not transmitted.

Trip planner

If you use the AI trip planner, the text you type (starting point, preferences and question) is sent to our server and on to an AI model through Vercel AI Gateway to generate the answer. It is not stored by us. Don’t include personal details.

Analytics

We use Ahrefs Web Analytics, a cookieless, privacy-friendly analytics tool, to count page views. It does not use cookies or collect personal data.
